During development of the COBUS, a great deal of attention was paid to simple maintenance with the reduction of down times in mind. For this reason all maintenance relevant components are easily accessible. Eventually necessary repairs can be done directly on or in the vehicle. Usually without either the need for down time, a workshop or vehicle lifts.

Should damage to any of the side panels occur, then these can be repaired, removed or exchanged with no down time at all.
